About

Me

Computers are a big part of my life. I study computer science, occasionally work in IT, and I love to play video games with my buddies or on my own. I also very much enjoy working on my side projects whenever I find the time.

Nevertheless, I also have some analogue hobbies, which I cherish just as much as my digital ones (or, truthfully, maybe even a bit more). I love playing the piano and the guitar, and listening to music that probably classifies as rock, jazz, something in between, or whatever the hell “Lawrence” is. I’m an avid reader of Fantasy and Horror, although I don’t find as much time for reading as I’d like, and lately I have also started playing (and DMing) the occasional game of D&D.

On the more physical side, I have recently take up running, I also love to go for the occasional walk across the rolling countryside surrounding the small village I call home, though the chances to do that have become rare lately, as I don’t live there any more.

But in the end, there is nothing that brings me quite as much joy as heartfelt conversation with good friends around a bonfire on a starry night.

This Website

I’m using HUGO to build this site, with all code being encapsulated within a custom HUGO module hosted on GitHub. Go and take a look at it over there, if you want. ;)

The design is not terribly original, it’s heavily inspired by Cory’s, Kev’s and Robb’s sites.

Additionally, all text uses Source Serif 4, and all colours stem from the onehalfdark colour scheme. And in case you’re asking yourself whether those colours are the ones I always use when configuring anything, you would be correct indeed, my friend.
